The C'est La Vie started life as a commercial barge in 1960 and it transported goods across Holland, Belgium and France before being converted in Belgium in 2004 to a luxury hotel barge which offers immersive itineraries, high quality wines and food, supported by the pinnacle of hospitality from its experienced captain and crew.

One of the newest luxury hotel barges, the C'est La Vie is fully equipped with modern amenities. The upper deck lounge and dining areas are air-conditioned with numerous windows giving you panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Accommodations include four cabin suites, each designed for either king size or twin beds, with private bathrooms with marble topped vanity units, air-conditioning, desk, 220 & 110 volts and plenty of storage/luggage space. Bluetooth speakers for your own music choice and much more to ensure your perfect cruise. The Cherry wood panelled walls and ceiling edged in black Iron wood give the spacious state rooms a feeling of warmth, with three windows on each side letting light filter through at all times of the day.

The outside sun deck with teak floor and furniture is the perfect spot to dine alfresco or relax under the sun canopy which gives shade to the entire deck, but can also be adjusted for those who like to bathe in the warmth of the summer sun.

In addition to a fabulous selection of wines, you have a well stocked bar with a large choice of drinks for all. The galley is well equipped for our professional chef to prepare your gourmet meals, appetizers and desserts.
