Joining Tauck's Destination Fleet in 2026, the 443-foot (135-meter) ms Lumiere is a brand-new riverboat built for the Rhone and Saone, welcoming no more than 130 guests. Her deck plan is optimized for spaciousness, with about 80 percent of cabins measuring 225 square feet or larger and two decks lined with floor-to-ceiling windows and real French balconies that open onto the passing riverscapes.

The ship offers 68 cabins across three decks, including 22 generous 300-square-foot suites on the Diamond Deck, each with a king-size bed facing two French balconies, a seating area, a spacious bathroom with a separate shower and a walk-in closet. With a crew of 50 and up to several Tauck Directors sailing throughout, ms Lumiere delivers one of the best guest-to-staff ratios on Europe's rivers as she cruises Provence, Lyon and the French countryside.
